JDC - a further few points

For those still asking questions about various things to do with JDCs, hopefully the following will answer them for you:
Year Groups - done by Calendar Year of Birth: U13s are 1998-2000, U14s are 1997, U15s are 1996, U16s are 1995 and U17s are 1994 years of birth.
There is an opportunity for one or two people to change JDC centre if required, and also a few people have asked if they can attend one session at another JDC - this should be OK but you MUST confirm with us first, and also understand that whilst the same material is delivered at each centre, it may be done in a different order/pace, so if you switch centres you may end up doing the same thing more than onece
For those who were nominated by their school, but could not attend the session OR did attend, but have not provided their contact details please make sure you download the Consent Form and send a copy to me, or at the very least, email me with your contact details (email preferably as I have over 300 kids to contact!).
Any other questions PLEASE EMAIL - all of the County volunteers work full time and cannot commit to answering phone calls.

First Wave of Invites Sent

First wave of emails now all sent. I have still some reconciliation to do for players who attended and have not provided contact details, plus some other invites to send to last year's JAC players.
However, if you have handed in your forms, and have not yet received an email and were expecting one, please firstly check your spam filters (email has been sent from SingleSystemRep@WarwickshireHockey.co.uk) and then get in contact if in any doubt. With over 300 kids being invited to attend, it is possible I may have missed one or two off! (In which case SORRY.)

Nominate for CSW Sport Awards

Following one of the most successful years in recent history for the County, it would be great for some of you to take a few minutes to nominate those who have seen success this year.
By my reckoning, we have teams who have won National titles and Midlands titles at Club, School and Representative level, and of course, that means we have Coaches who have supported them - and please do not forget those Administrators who have worked to make all of this possible.
So, rather than just accepting that this all happens without the efforts of several people, and that everyone who has achieved success this year MUST be recognised at some point - why not nominate any teams or individuals within the County that you believe deserve the recognition at least!

Proposed Courses - Please Express Your Interest
Within the County, in support of the development of our future infra-structure, particularly with regards to youngsters, we are planning on running a number of courses. Could you please email the Chairman, and let him know what sort of numbers you might have (from club/school/individually) that would be interested in:
a) A Foundation Umpire course (aimed at ages 13 and below)
b) A Young Leaders Course (probably 11+)
c) The new England Hockey Leadership award (probably 11+)
- the difference between b and c is that the second one is very hockey specific, whereas the first would be for sport in general).
All courses would most probably be held at the Silhillians Sports Club and cost somewhere between £20 and £40.
